NIA Supplies Hundreds of Meals to Fulton County Families In Need

Food Finders Food Bank works to address food insecurity in their 16-county service area. This area includes Fulton County where, according to Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap study, 12.4 percent of the population — or 2,550 people — do not know where they will get their next meal. 31 percent of people in Fulton County make too much to qualify for assistance programs like SNAP, but often struggle to make ends meet.

After hearing about the urgent need in Fulton County from our members, NIA donated to Food Finders Food Bank and supplied hundreds of meals to citizens of Fulton County.
