NIA at Families Belong Together Rallies in Northern Indiana

On Saturday, June 30, Northern Indiana Atheists (NIA) will be at the Families Belong Together Rally in Goshen, Indiana, at the Elkhart County Courthouse, 101 N Main St, from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m. We will have a table at this event and will be supplying rally signs for free to anyone who needs one.

Later the same day NIA will be at the Families Belong Together Rally in South Bend at the Marycrest Office Building, 2015 W Western Ave, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. We will also be supplying rally signs for free at this event.

NIA opposes our government's cruel, inhumane, and deplorable systematic separation of asylum seekers from their children along the US/Mexico border.

NIA was established to fight state/church violations. With government officials using biblical justification to rip children out of the arms of their parents, we hope people see the importance of having and maintaining what Thomas Jefferson called “the wall of separation between church and state.”

The United States is not a theocracy. Theocrats like Jeff Sessions, Mike Pence, and Donald Trump pose a real and obvious threat to our civilized society and secular government—a government that represents all citizens equally, regardless of their beliefs or lack thereof.
