Decision Day Action in Goshen, Indiana

The July 3 "Decision Day Action in Goshen: We Won’t Go Back" event was a huge success. A lot of abortion stories shared, we got an amazing amount of donations to the Staff and Volunteer Fund for Whole Woman's Health of South Bend, and we shared info on the Abortion Wayfinder Program: www.tinyurl.com/abortionwayfinder

The struggle for abortion access is specifically provoked by religiously-based efforts from the Supreme Court all the way down to a small clinic parking lot in South Bend, Indiana. These groups claim to be called by faith to block, intimidate, and bully patients out of the ability to access basic healthcare.

NIA has supported Whole Woman’s Health of South Bend since before they opened their doors for the first time three years ago. We supply them with volunteer clinic escorts, large rainbow umbrellas that are used to shield patients from the anti-abortion extremists, and we’ve held several fundraising campaigns. Learn about the Wayfinder Program which helps people find their way to receive the abortion healthcare they need. WWH works alongside abortion funds and allies to secure logistical and financial support for anyone needing to travel for abortion care. http://tinyurl.com/abortionwayfinder
